White-Spunner Construction is one of the largest construction companies in south Alabama, and has garnered prestigious awards for building design and reconstruction. The existing White-Spunner Construction identity was no longer an optimal reflection of the industry leader it had become. The company brought in J Thomas Inc. to revise its brand identity and signal its strong position to compete in the national market.
How we responded:
J Thomas Inc. worked with White-Spunner Construction’s management team to develop a new visual identity that better illustrated the essence of White-Spunner Construction—an innovator in the building industry. Once approved, J Thomas Inc. put together an Identity Style Manual outlining color palette, corporate fonts, photographic direction, and guidelines for print, signage and electronic usage. J Thomas Inc. also developed new business papers including a capabilities brochure and project sheets.
The new logo and Identity Standards Manual were awarded Medallion Awards by the Public Relations Council of Alabama. The business papers were awarded the association’s Award of Excellence for design.
